- Contains 50 to 60% Urea Hydrochloride.
- Powerful but much lower fuming than hydrochloric acid.
- Effectively removes mineral residues, including efflorescence, grout haze, rust marks, soap scum, limescale, mortar mess.
- Acidic Cleaner can also be used for removing fireplace soot.
- Temporary contact does not immediately burn skin – you have some time to rinse off the Acidic Cleaner (however, rinse immediately after skin contact).
- Almost no corrosion of metals, except aluminium.
HOW TO USE
1. Read Product Data Sheet and Material Safety Data Sheet before using.
2. Wear protective gloves/protective clothing/eye protection/face protection.
TEST PRODUCT ON A SMALL AREA TO CHECK ACID SENSITIVITY BEFORE FULL APPLICATION.
If satisfied with test results, remove all loose dust and dirt from the surface.
Apply when surface temperature is 5 to 35 °C (40 – 95 °F).
Pre-wet very porous surfaces with water to prevent cleaner penetrating too deeply.
TED is highly concentrated and must be diluted with clean water. Recommended dilutions:
a. Efflorescence, rust marks – 1 part TED to 10 parts water.
b. Grout haze, limescale, soap scum – 1 part TED to 20 parts water
8. Pour, brush or spray mixed solution generously onto surface and leave for 3 minutes.
9. Do not allow solution to dry on surface. Clean large areas in sections.
10. Rub with a white nylon scrub pad, or similar, to clean the surface.
11. TED is highly acidic and must be neutralized before rinsing: Use Oxitec-M or dissolve 1 cup of bicarbonate of soda in a bucket of water. Pour, spray over the entire surface and leave for minimum 3 minutes.
12. Rinse surface thoroughly several times with clean water.
13. NOTE: TED is highly acidic and will etch acid sensitive materials such as marble, limestone, travertine and onyx. Concrete should be wet before applying TED and neutralized immediately afterwards to minimize damage.

Can you send me samples?
Yes, we can send up to 5 cut samples to you anywhere in Australia for only $25 ($5/per unit). The cost of your purchased sample will be applied as a credit to your subsequent paving order. You can select & order required samples on line.
Is there any size variation in natural stone products?
The stone we sell is the most dimensionally accurate product that can be sourced. However, sizes are nominal and slight variations of +/-2 mm can occur.
Can you supply custom made products?
Yes, we can supply custom made products. We have an extensive range of standard sizes and finishes available for immediate delivery, however tailored products can be supplied with a typical lead time of 4 to 6 weeks; an industry benchmark.
Does stone vary in colour?
Slight variance in colour and texture can occur from piece to piece, which adds to the natural inherent beauty and individuality of the product. To some degree, you can expect some varying colouration in all products such as bluestone pavers, granite pavers and more.
Do natural stone products break or chip in transit?
Our stone is packaged extremely well so it arrives on site in good condition. However, some rubbing of the products face and minor chips along the edges may occur during transit. This is accepted as normal within the landscape industry, any units considered to be badly chipped are generally used as cuts. Industry accepted practice is to order 5% extra to allow for cuts and wastage.
How long do I have to wait once product is ordered?
If product is in stock, lead time is 2-5 working days Melbourne metro area, all other parts of Australia 7-14 working days. If product is out of stock or custom order, lead time can be approximately up to 4-6 weeks.
